Year-Wise Breakdown of subjects at Medical University of Białystok
Each academic year concludes with a clerkship program accounting for 120 hours and 4 ECTS.
Year 1 - Foundations of Medical Science: The program begins with foundational medical courses such as Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Biophysics, and Biochemistry, among others.
Year 2:Building upon the knowledge from the first year, in the second year you study Physiology, Microbiology, Parasitology, and Pathomorphology, with a total of 707 hours and 56 ECTS.
Year 3: In your third year you study into specialized courses like Patophysiology,Pharmacology, and Laboratory Diagnostics, amassing a total of 697 hours and 56 ECTS. This year concludes with four examinations.
Year 4: The penultimate year explores Neurology,Infectious Diseases, Dermatology, and Venereology. It consists of a comprehensive curriculum totaling 1017 hours and 56 ECTS, and culminates with six examinations.
Year 5:The fifth year of the program comprises advanced courses like Forensic Medicine, Oncology, Anesthesiology, and Intensive Care, among others. The total hours for the fifth year amount to 1015 hours, accounting for 56 ECTS.
Year 6 - Wrapping Up Clinical Training : The final year wraps up the clinical training with subjects likeNeurology, Infectious Diseases, Dermatology, and others. This year also includes a clerkship period.

MU Białystok Entrance Exam
To schedule the Medical University of Białystok medicine entrance test, you need to submit the required documents and pay a 500 Euro enrollment fee. The test is an interview carried out electronically, assessing your knowledge of
, as well as English language proficiency for medical studies. A maximum of 100 points can be scored. The interview takes place after a positive verification of the online application and preparation steps include ensuring a stable internet connection, functioning webcam and microphone, and a quiet room. You will need a passport and may have their picture taken for identification. All electronic devices should be off.
